Reaching out to the Community is one of the important component of the college. The College is open to share its various resources to the needs of the Community. The various classes have reached out to the community giving their service especially to the old age and destitute homes. The various classes conduct their social out- reach programs without fail. They rendered their services to Old –age homes, palliative care centers, mentally challenged institutions and destitute homes. Besides, the NSS and the department of Social Work render their expertise at various times in conducting social surveys to aid the District administration and various NGO’s working for the people. The College was actively involved in the re-habilitation of the flood affected victims during the past two major floods that occurred. The Covid-19 situation was another occasion when the students and the Management joined hands to alleviate the sufferings of the people due to the lock-downs.
